key factor<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>This portal has been developed specifically to facilitate the integration among the players of claims management.<\/li>\n<li>This Portal allows a better communication between the Loss Adjuster \u2013Insurer \u2013 Insured.<\/li>\n<li>The system allows an exchange of data and documents regarding the loss in a real time, it decreases the time required to manage information.<\/li>\n<li>A system of alerting allows to be constantly updated in the progress of the single claims management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>LOTUS \u2013\u00a0<\/strong><b>Claims<\/b> <b>handling<\/b><b> in\u00a0<\/b><strong><b>Outsourcing <\/b><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The management of\u00a0claims, for each policy\u00a0acquired, and\/or for\u00a0each Client, is made using\u00a0an ad hoc database\u00a0(proprietary technology),\u00a0tailored on the specific\u00a0needs of each Client.\u00a0The customer can access\u00a0this database, according\u00a0to levels of access, through\u00a0the web and with a\u00a0confidential password.\u00a0The Web access allows\u00a0you to constantly monitor\u00a0the progress of the file,\u00a0and to examine the\u00a0documents received and\u00a0enclosed to the case file.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Each application for the management of claims is tailored to the Client\u2019s needs:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Lotus Domino IBM technology;<\/li>\n<li>Access to the system via the web with a secure SSL connection\u00a0through\u00a0the portal;<\/li>\n<li>Interconnection (inbound-outbound) to the application systems\u00a0of the Clients via flat files (ftp, mail servers) or via web service;<\/li>\n<li>Electronic storage of documents (also accessible via the web);<\/li>\n<li>Optical filing of hard copy data;<\/li>\n<li>Realization of Web portals on php &#8211;
